2027 hyundai grandeur design update — PK news

The 2027 Hyundai Grandeur showcases a significant design update while retaining classic elements from its heritage. Hyundai has refreshed its flagship sedan, previously known as the Azera, with new features and aesthetics.

Hyundai calls the new design the ‘Shark Nose’. The 2027 Grandeur features a refreshed front end and thinner light elements. It also retains heritage-inspired details like the C-pillar opera glass and frameless doors from the original 1986 model.

A new Artistic Burgundy color is available for the exterior. The interior offers a lounge-like wraparound layout with soft materials and ambient lighting. It is clearly designed with passengers in mind, not just the driver.

The Grandeur now includes a 17-inch Pleos Connect infotainment system powered by Android Automotive OS. This system supports over-the-air updates for key systems like suspension and powertrain.

The Grandeur provides multiple powertrain options including gasoline, hybrid, and Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) variants. A new sunroof can switch between transparent and opaque with the press of a button.

Features like Digital Key 2 and a fingerprint scanner enhance convenience for drivers. The Grandeur continues to provide a smooth ride with electronically controlled suspension.

Hyundai has appointed Brad Arnold as Chief Designer for North America to enhance design efforts. The company aims to strengthen its presence in the luxury sedan market, targeting competitors like Genesis G80, BMW 5 Series, and Mercedes-Benz E-Class.
