Hyderabad Kingsmen’s Tensions in PSL Highlighted by Hammad Azam’s Criticism

hyderabad — PK news

In a tense encounter at Gaddafi Stadium, Hammad Azam criticized Mohammad Rizwan for his remarks regarding the Hyderabad Kingsmen’s playoff eligibility. This criticism reflects the intense competition within the Pakistan Super League.

Hyderabad Kingsmen won the toss and elected to field against Multan Sultans in the first PSL 11 eliminator. Azam expressed disappointment over Rizwan’s statement, claiming it was unfounded.

“It was a very bad statement, to be honest,” Azam said. He urged Rizwan to focus on his own performance, noting that he had won just two matches in the last 18 games as captain.

Rizwan’s Multan Sultans previously defeated Hyderabad in their only meeting during PSL 11. Usman Khan, another player, reflected on his challenges after being dropped from the national team.

“When I was dropped from the Pakistan team, people told me that I would never make a comeback,” Usman said. He has since scored two centuries in a single edition of PSL season nine.

Usman Khan’s T20I statistics reveal he has scored 474 runs with a strike rate of 121.85 across 38 matches. He has also participated in two ODIs, scoring 51 runs.

As tensions rise within the league, observers expect further developments regarding team dynamics and player performances. The outcome of this match could significantly impact both teams’ playoff aspirations.
