Eid Al Adha 2026 will provide Saudi residents with an extended holiday break, creating one of the best travel windows of the year. The holiday is expected to begin on May 27, 2026, following the Day of Arafah on May 26. Residents will enjoy five consecutive days off from May 26 to May 30.

Before this announcement, many anticipated a standard holiday schedule. However, the extended break has prompted a surge in interest for travel deals and hotel packages.

Key facts:

  • Eid Al Adha coincides with the Hajj season, making it a busy travel period.
  • Airlines typically release their biggest promotions two to three weeks before the holiday.
  • Flynas has launched a dedicated Eid Break offers page with discounted fares.

The Karachi Metropolitan Corporation has approved five locations for cattle markets ahead of Eid-ul-Adha. These markets will facilitate the purchase of sacrificial animals for the celebrations.

Special measures will be implemented to maintain traffic flow at these markets. The approved locations include Athar Bazaar, North Karachi, KMC Ground, Safari Park, and Gulistan-e-Jauhar.

Hotel deals for Eid Al Adha are already available. Rosewood Jeddah offers a 20% discount, while The Chedi Hegra provides 35% off for two-night stays. Advance bookings at Banyan Tree AlUla also receive a 15% discount.

This decision is viewed positively by citizens. It eases Eid-ul-Azha shopping and enhances travel options during the holiday period.

Taking just one leave day on Monday, May 25 can extend the break to six days. This flexibility allows residents to maximize their time off during this festive season.
