Unsettled weather continues to spread eastward. The Mid-Atlantic will experience dry coastal areas while thunderstorms and rain showers shake up the rest of the region.

Florida will remain thunderstorm-free. Light rain may fall at the southernmost point of the peninsula.

The West Coast will be primarily dry, with precipitation confined to mountainous peaks in the northern Cascades and Sierra Nevada.

Temperatures in the Ohio River Valley, Tennessee Valley, and Mid-Atlantic are expected to reach the 70s. Much of the Southeast will see temperatures in the 80s, while some areas in Texas and Florida may heat up to the 90s.

A storm system will drift northeastward, crossing the upper Great Lakes States tonight and early Tuesday. Precipitation may linger in parts of New England, possibly changing to snow before ending.
