The sexual harassment lawsuit was filed by Chirayu Rana under the pseudonym John Doe. Rana accused Hajdini of sexual coercion, abuse of power, and retaliation. He alleged that the inappropriate conduct began shortly after he joined JPMorgan’s team in spring 2024.

Hajdini is 37 years old and serves as an executive director at JPMorgan. She denied the allegations through her legal representatives, stating she never engaged in any inappropriate conduct with Rana. Her lawyers emphasized that she has never even been to the location where the alleged incident supposedly took place.

The lawsuit also named JPMorgan Chase as a defendant, claiming that the bank failed to properly investigate the matter. However, JPMorgan’s internal review included phone records and emails from team members, finding no evidence to support Rana’s claims. A spokesperson for JPMorgan stated, “Following an investigation, we don’t believe there’s any merit to these claims.”

Rana did not report directly to Hajdini; they were colleagues who reported to different managing directors. In May 2025, Rana filed an internal complaint alleging race- and gender-based harassment.

The court filing has been withdrawn for corrections, and no trial date has been set. The lawsuit remains active, and the claims have not been tested in court.

Hajdini is viewed internally at JPMorgan as “a top performer.” Rana’s family home in Fairfax County, VA, is valued at approximately $1.7 million. This case continues to evolve as both sides prepare their arguments.
