The Israeli military carried out strikes across southern Lebanon, hitting dozens of Hezbollah targets. Lebanon’s health ministry reported that 13 people were killed in Israeli strikes on May 3. The death toll from Israeli strikes since March 2 has risen to more than 2,600.

The Israeli military stated it had dismantled approximately 70 military structures and 50 Hezbollah infrastructure sites on May 2. These actions follow ongoing tensions despite a ceasefire agreement established on April 17.

The ceasefire text grants Israel the right to act against planned, imminent, or ongoing attacks. Hezbollah has claimed several attacks targeting Israeli troops in response to what they describe as ceasefire violations.

Evacuation warnings advised residents to move at least 1,000 meters away from their homes into open areas. Avichay Adraee, an Israeli military spokesperson, emphasized the urgency of these warnings: “For your safety, you must evacuate your homes immediately and move away from the villages and towns by at least 1,000 meters into open areas.”

The conflict has displaced more than a million people in Lebanon since it began. The situation remains fluid as both sides continue their operations.
