FIA Rallycross World Cup to Debut in Jakarta
“Across our FIA Championships, World Cup events have proven their ability to deliver accessible, standalone competitions with strong global appeal,” stated FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem regarding the upcoming FIA Rallycross World Cup.
Scheduled for December 5-6, 2026, the inaugural event will take place at the Jakarta International E-Prix Circuit, marking the first expansion of rallycross into Southeast Asia. This significant development aims to engage fans globally, with live coverage planned on YouTube.
The FIA Rallycross World Cup will feature Euro RX1 internal combustion-powered machinery, showcasing the thrilling wheel-to-wheel action that rallycross is known for. The event is organized in partnership with SARGA.CO, a leading Indonesian sports and entertainment company.
