“We’re excited to welcome Dua Lipa to the Nespresso family,” said Leonardo Aizpuru, highlighting the singer’s new role as the Global Brand Ambassador for the coffee giant. This announcement comes as Lipa expressed her long-standing connection with the brand, stating, “I feel like I have grown up with Nespresso.”
The appointment was made public during a busy week for Lipa, who also attended the Bvlgari Eclettica collection event in Milan. The event showcased over 160 new creations across various luxury categories, further solidifying Lipa’s status as a cultural trendsetter and influential artist.
In addition to her work with Nespresso and Bvlgari, Lipa’s philanthropic efforts were on display as her organization, Service 95, hosted a charity event for Ukraine. The event took place in Bermondsey’s Avalon Cafe and was part of the ‘Club For’ series, aimed at raising funds for Driving Ukraine, a nonprofit organization dedicated to repurposing decommissioned vehicles into ambulances and military transport.
Fynn Watt, a representative from Driving Ukraine, remarked, “The longer this invasion persists, the more challenging it becomes for people on the ground,” underscoring the ongoing humanitarian crisis. All proceeds from the charity event were directed to support their efforts, with a lineup of DJs including Abimbola, Izzi, MiNNA, and Zuri performing in solidarity.
Lipa’s presence at both the Nespresso and Bvlgari events highlights her multifaceted career, blending music, fashion, and social responsibility. As she continues to engage with various brands and causes, her influence in the industry remains significant.
The charity event not only showcased Lipa’s commitment to important global issues but also reflected her ability to draw attention to pressing humanitarian needs. As the world marks the fourth anniversary of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the need for international assistance remains critical.
With her new role at Nespresso and her ongoing charitable initiatives, Dua Lipa is poised to make a lasting impact in both the commercial and humanitarian spheres.
